Los espacios con alma, una apuesta compartida por la FMY y el CODID-RM

Soulful spaces, a joint commitment between FMY and CODID-RM

La Casa Barnuevo and intTop Mar Menor welcome our 60th edition novelties.

Yecla Furniture Fair (FMY) has taken its “young soul” to the II Interior Design Show of the Region of Murcia, intTop Mar Menor. This year, the event is hosted by the municipality of San Javier, specifically, by the iconic Casa Barnuevo, which has become the design spotlight during the two weeks of the event.

Juan Miguel Zornoza, director of the FMY, accompanied by Rosa Sánchez, dean of the Official Association of Interior Designers / Decorators of the Region of Murcia (CODID-RM), presented the 60th edition of the event. In just a few days, from 24 to 27 May, the Yecla exhibition centre will become the main stage of the housing sector with more than 90 confirmed exhibitors.

No coincidence that the fair has chosen intTop Mar Menor, which is organised by CODID-RM in collaboration with the City Council of San Javier, to reveal the new features that this new edition will bring. This is a consolidated alliance that the event maintains.

CODID-RM and FMY are two connected worlds, as the dean of the professional association, Rosa Sánchez, acknowledged. Designers and interior designers come to the fair to discover ideas, materials and new products, in the same way that the event uses their professional vision to make their spaces more attractive.

However, this synergy goes much further than that. FMY’s and CODID-RM are both committed with the housing sector. Its professionals are well aware of the value of this approach to spaces. Both worlds meet and understand each other perfectly in this focus on spaces with soul, places that create and express emotions.

In fact, the rise of furnishing in recent years, years in which we have spent more time in our homes and which have helped us to value our living space more, has been one of the factors that has resulted in good figures for the furniture and timber sector. Furniture clusters have also worked hand in hand with designers. Their vision and work is essential to achieve greater comfort and harmony with the way we live. Hospitality Contract is another of the meeting points between the vision of these two connected worlds. There is no doubt that the FMY firms once again stand out for their international prestige. The exhibiting companies bring together hoteliers, architects, interior designers, decorators and specifiers to create welcoming spaces. The exhibiting companies showcase their contract
