The 59th edition of the Yecla Furniture Fair, which also celebrated the 60th anniversary of this event, took place in October 2021. The event beat its historical records and doubled the number of visitors of the 2019 edition to over 7,000 visits from professionals from the furniture, timber and related sectors.
This edition was framed in the re-connect theme to promote the meeting and the spaces of coexistence, since in 2020 the event could not be held due to the health situation. The virtual platform, reverse trade missions and the leisure-business space were the main features of this event.
In her speech, the president of the FMY Executive Committee and mayoress of Yecla, Remedios Lajara, highlighted the constancy and resilience of the companies in the sector and the fundamental role of the exhibiting companies. A present with a future whose origins go back to “those first brave people who dared to propose something new in Spain, to be pioneers of an adventure that others have since joined,” Lajara remarked.
We look forward to seeing you at the 60th edition of Yecla Furniture Fair!
